The Rector, NationBuilders College of Technology, Asaba, Dr. Chukwuma Anuku, has reiterated the need for students to acquire and develop a skill in addition to what they are taught in the classroom.

He said this at a special lecture, tagged "Rector-Students Skills Development Summit 001", held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Adadioranma Hall.

Dr. Anuku, while advising the students to have a skill, to be fit to compete with their equals in the new economy, disclosed that acquiring a skill is the foundation to all entrepreneurship knowledge.

His words: "I am aware that you have started taking classes on entrepreneurship but I need to re-emphasize that you need to have skills before think of how to manage them"

"Entrepreneurship is the process of going to an environment, finding out what they lack, and then setting up a small organization or business on what the environment lacks to make profits"...
